Twin Stick Shooter AIPD Announced

By Lexley Ford, 1 year ago
Indie developer Blazing Badger have announced their debut title AIPD, a top-down twin-stick shooter that pays homage to the 80’s neon art style of films like Tron and boasts an impressive 100,000 possible game modes. AIPD, which is an acronym for Artificial Intelligence Police Department, will allow players to customise their ship’s equipment in order to tackle the various challenges and features 4-player local co-op, online leaderboards, and limited time challenges in which the game mode is randomised each week.

Alongside the announcement, Blazing Badger released a trailer and a few vivid screenshots.

AIPD is set for a release on Xbox One sometime in May 2015, though anyone attending this year's GDC will be able to play a prototype version of the game at the Unreal Engine Booth.
