Halo: The Master Chief Collection Showcases ODST

By Rebecca Smith, 1 year ago
Recent patches for Halo: The Master Chief Collection have improved matchmaking and the general gameplay, and developer 343 Industries has promised yet another update to be released next month. While they're yet to provide any details on that update, they did take the time to give us a sneak peek at two major additions that they'll be making.

The first is a sneak peek at the upcoming Halo 3: ODST campaign. For those who missed the news, the campaign is being given away for FREE to the players who endured The Master Chief Collection's launch problems. Anybody who played the game before December 19th, 2014, is eligible to receive the free gift. The image shows the updated plaza area in 1080p resolution.

The second image is a comparison of the original Halo 2 Relic map and the 1080p version that will be appearing in Halo 2: Anniversary. 343's testing and community teams have been putting the map through its paces at 60fps to try and find as many bugs as possible. The map will be offered in a free content update for all players.
