Third Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo Developer Diary

If you have your eyes set on an authentic racing experience for Xbox One, then Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo might be just what you're after. Currently in development by Milestone s.r.l., Rally Evo is a new IP being created in conjunction with World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb.

The third in a series of developer diaries gives further insight into the development process. In the video, Lead Programmer Mattia De Nadai discusses how the team at Milestone are using advanced shading methods and particle effects to make the interaction between car and world as realistic as possible. De Nadai also demonstrates test environments built in-game that are allowing Milestone to track vehicle physics as they drive into obstacles at various speeds and angles.

Check out the entire video above for a glimpse into the world of game development, and catch up on the first two dev diaries here and here. Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is scheduled for release on Xbox One this fall.
