Telltale Games/Marvel Collaboration Announced

In news that is sure to excite fans of both companies, Marvel Entertainment and Telltale Games have both announced that they will be partnering together on an upcoming game series.

Marvel/Telltale Team Up

Down the years, Marvel has had wildly varying degrees of success with video game entries involving their properties, from stinkers like Iron Man to great collaborations such as LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Marvel certainly seems to be aiming for the latter by partnering with Telltale, who has become renowned for their criticially-acclaimed point-and-click adventure games and, of course, has had previous success in adapting comics with The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.

Beyond the brief announcement, very few details have been released about the project, leaving everyone to wonder exactly who we'll be seeing. Will we see the recognisable faces like Tony Stark and Captain America? Or with Telltale's particularly diverse casts, could we see the new female Thor or Miles Morales as Spiderman? Who knows, but it sure is fun to speculate.

Whatever it is, the Marvel/Telltale project will be debuting in 2017, so we've all got quite a while to wait.
