We got a glimpse of Call of Duty: Black Ops III
for the first time earlier this month thanks to a quick teaser
courtesy of Activision. But now we finally have a look at what we can expect from the behemoth's next title. Black Ops III
will take place in a dark future where both cybernetics and biotechnology are at the forefront of the military's technical assets. This gives rise to a faster, stronger, more lethal soldier than we have ever seen before. Along with these human advancements, comes new advancements in both traversing a map and additions to the beloved multiplayer world, Activision stated:With a new momentum-based, chained movement system that allows players to move fluidly through environments and maintain constant control of their weapon, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is packed with new multiplayer features. In addition to a new weapon customization system that lets players create unique weapon variants, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 introduces the new Specialist system, which lets players choose and rank up nine elite Black Ops soldiers, each with their own unique look, personality, backstory, and devastating weapons and abilities.
As expected with a Treyarch Call of Duty
, they have brought back Zombies and gave it an XP progression system as well as it's own storyline. Furthermore, players will be happy to know that Black Ops III
has a four-player cooperative campaign. Activision gave us a look at what to expect from the new game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III
is slated for a November 6th release date on the Xbox One, and those who pre-order
will be given access to the multiplayer beta.
