Game developer Cyanide, the team behind the entire Le Tour de France series on the Xbox 360, has announced this year's installation with Tour de France 2015 set to release on Xbox One. Ready your bicycle and get ready for some tough and stamina-filled competition as riders do their best to win and don the coveted yellow jersey.

Rammed with new features, gamers will play as one of "today's champions" as they face off against many other riders to win it all. The Tour takes players through each of the 21 official stages as well as Critérium International and the Critérium du Dauphiné, of which both make their first appearances this year in the title. With such a long and enduring race, players need to work on forming the best strategy, using the most "efficient trajectory", and even dishing out the orders to their team mates. You won't be lumbered with team members with whom you're not happy, however, as players will have the option to build their own dream team thanks to ProTeam mode, where players can "recruit legendary pro cyclists". Challenge mode will keep players fresh with various activities to do, such as challenges that will test descent skills. The game will also feature co-op modes and competitive multiplayer via local play.

The new screens give us a preview of the cycling action to come as we soak up the gorgeous visuals that France has to offer. Check out the screens as the massive amount of cyclists take on the huge tour and ride uncomfortably close to each other:
