Bloodstained: RotN Ask IGA Video Released

By Michelle Balsan, 1 year ago
When Koji Igarashi launched his Kickstarter for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, it took mere hours for the game to smash through its fundraising goal of $500,000. In fact, by the time we reported on it later that day, the Kickstarter was already sitting at $1.3 million. Now, a week later, $2.3 million in funding has been pledged to the title and further stretch goals, such as a boss rush mode and a retro level, have been met and will be added to the game. At $2.5 million, which should be eclipsed shortly, a classic mode will also be available.

Igarashi is certainly appreciative of all the support his project has received, so he's released a video where he answers questions about the game. In this edition of Ask IGA, he tackles topics from why he chose a female lead character to whether or not we can expect secrets and Easter eggs in the game, as well as a variety of other topics.

Next week, Igarashi will return with a video dedicated to questions about level design. If you want your question to be considered, just tweet it with the hashtag #AskIGA and it might be answered.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is set for release in 2017.
