Fans of the Final Fantasy
series will be happy to know that Square Enix has provided us with another glimpse into the world of Final Fantasy XV
thanks to a video showing off Luminous Studio 1.5, the in-house developed engine that will be running the game. The video gives us a look at the developer's vision for the engine, what has gone into making it as realistic as possible, and also lets us see how this translates to the gameplay experience:
Along with this tech demo, Square Enix has also overviewed an upcoming patch for Final Fantasy XV -Episode Duscae-
that aims to implement changes to the game based off of responses from the player survey
that was open from March until the end of May.
Finally, Director Hajime Tabata and Marketing Manager Akio Ofuji are back with another Active Time Report in which they go into detail of what to expect from this patch, then continue to discuss the development of Final Fantasy XV
and more as they answer questions in the hour long video.
Final Fantasy XV
still has no release date as of yet, but Episode Duscae
players can expect the patch to go live June 9th at 8:00 PDT.
