This Week's L4D2 Mutation: Lone Gunman

Valve has released this week's mutation for Left 4 Dead 2.

You and your Magnum against the deadly horde and Boomers.
So you have your Magnum pistol and… well you do have your Magnum pistol. You better be counting bullets because four swipes by a common and you are dead. Getting boomed? Forget about it.It sounds like Valve is really ramping up the difficulty factor for this one.

This mutation is for the single player campaign. You will be playing by yourself with no Survivor Bots to back you up. This also means you will not be able to bring buddies in for some co-op action, hence the whole "lone" part.

There will be no weapon spawns, except for grenades.

Tanks and Witches will be spawning normally and will include some specially scripted spawn events, because Valve loves you. On the bonus side, the only Infected you will encounter are Boomers. Oh, and the horde.

Damage is also ramped up. To incapacitate you, it will take four hits on Normal, two hits on Advanced, and one hit from any direction on Expert.

I hope you have some lubrication handy 'cause this one sounds like it is going to hurt.

This. Sounds. Awesome! It's going to be hard as hell and I don't stand a chance at surviving but it sounds like epic frustrating abounds!

was going for my gnome award and started with the hunter thing and beat it but the award didnt pop until I played this mutator,which was hard! dont think I'll be playing this much anymore.
