Skylanders SuperChargers E3 Interview and Gameplay

By Ben Crouch, 1 year ago
With E3 comes more information on just about every game you can think of, and Skylanders SuperChargers is no different. To start things off, Scott Lowe, the communications manager from Activision, interviews Lou Studdert, the Associate Producer, about their new upcoming game.

Lou goes into what Skylanders SuperChargers will be all about, including the brand new vehicle-based toys. He wants to drive the point home that this new brand of toys will be actual toys with articulation and moving parts for the first time, compared to the previous toys, which generally just had bases and stands. You can see what other surprises they talk about, including their new partnership with Nintendo that allows them to include Bowser, from the Mario series, and Donkey Kong into Skylanders.

Next up, we have a HUGE 37 minute gameplay walkthrough of a level in the game named Cloud Kingdom. We get to see Spitfire, Super Shot Stealth Elf, and Stormblade in action as they traverse the level. We also get a peek at the new vehicles - Sky Slicer, Hot Streak, and Dive Bomber - trying to take down transport ships.

Skylanders SuperChargers launches on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 20th in North America, September 24th in New Zealand/Australia and September 25th in Europe.

Ben is sarcastic, immature and dashingly handsome! (Most people tend to disagree on the last part) He is 24, and lives in Melbourne, Australia. He plays mostly all game genres, but RPG's are his real jam. Priding himself in his overwhelming backlog of games on both xbox and playstation systems, he has finally acknowledged that he will never catch up and has time to only play the best of the best (Just don't check his gamercard, you may find a few Disney games on there that he insists his little sister played and not him, but we know the truth) He also works with Eb Games on the outside of TA during the day, and manages a Pizza shop by night. You can be sure the True Achievements web page is always open and ready to go on either his phone or works pc.
