Elite: Dangerous Announces Close Q' Championships

Frontier Developments, the team behind Elite: Dangerous have announced the "Close Quarter Championships", a new game mode in which only the most skilled players will succeed. A new trailer has been released showcasing some very fast-paced action taking place in space as seasoned ship flyers will collide with other veterans, rookies and opponents of all skill levels in a mission to be the best and fly away victorious. Take a look at the upcoming CQC as well as a brief of info on what's in store:

The ultimate 34th century gladiatorial contest between Elite: Dangerous pilots, CQC thrusts players into intense PVP action in custom-built arenas set within the Elite: Dangerous galaxy. Equip a unique loadout on your Sidewinder, Eagle or new Federal Fighter craft and earn XP to unlock new weapons, modules and abilities.The "Close Quarter Championships" will be coming to Elite: Dangerous in July as part of the Xbox Game Preview Program on Xbox One.
