The Silent Roads Gets Funded for Consoles

By Peter Stojanov, 1 year ago
Thanks to Kickstarter and 103 backers, Lonely Adventures reached their target of over $5,000 for their RPG title, The Silent Roads. Now that it's funded, the developers will be able to bring this post-apocalyptic, rogue-like game to the Xbox consoles. For more information on the title and details, check out the description on Lonely Adventures' kickstarter page.

Key Art

A post apocalyptic roguelike video game. Roam the wasteland, explore vast regions and survive at all costs. A devastating apocalyptic event has mysteriously annihilated most of the world's population. No one knows what happened and there are many theories circulating, from the great Malthusian collapse to a technological singularity. According to some legends, it's the result of a Von Neumann Berserker probe, but nobody can be too sure. Pockets of depraved humans still exist, surrounded by wilderness, abandoned cities left in ruins, and the unknown.

The Silent Roads is an additional dosis of FTL + Fallout, for all of you who finished these games and are craving for a better post apocalyptic roguelike-like.
The Silent Roads: Desert will be released for the Xbox One and 360 in August 2015.

Hello everybody! My name is Peter but I'm usually known as smokin cheez or just cheez. I've been a Newshound and reviewer for TrueTrophies for awhile now and when I heard that TA needed some more Newshounds I applied right away! The meaning behind my gamertag isn't what most potheads think it is, it's just because I like cheese, especially ones that are smoking. I live in Ontario, Canada and I love to write. Just mopping up school now and working at the airport to pay off loans but it barely stops me from writing for these awesome sites. Even though I write for TT, the sister, PlayStation version of TA, I'm actually more of a Xbox player. I've always preferred it more plus I'm a HUGE Halo fan (played all the games, watched all the media, read all the books and comics) probably because it's the only thing I've been there for since the beginning. When Xbox One came out I even traded in the PlayStation 3 I had to get it, also since my girlfriend has PS3 and PS4 I just play the newer games that come out on hers. Thanks again for adding me to the TA crew and I plan to help out as much as I can with the news, and reviews if they let me here! cheez
