By Joseph C, 1 year ago
Not long ago we brought you a gameplay video and dev interview for the crazy rocket-powered platformer, Tinertia, that is making its way to Xbox One.  Candescent Games, Inc. have released a new trailer showing the previously-unseen Slums world, with some tight camera work flying through the scenes as the rocketing commences.

Candescent Games has partnered with Section Studios and Reverb Triple XP to bring this streamer-friendly, speedrunner-focused platformer to consoles.  They’ve announced that Tinertia will release on September 3rd on Steam, with the following console release date still not fixed.  Leaderboards and ghost races will allow you to challenge your friends’ times as well as the top players in the world, and the game’s simple to play but tough to master approach gears itself directly at this style of play.  Check out a handful of screens below as well as the brief video of the Slums world.

Tinertia has no release date yet for Xbox One; we’ll be sure to bring you that info as it arrives.

36-year old married gamer, father to a fierce Boston Terrier but no humanoid children. I've been gaming practically my whole life, starting around when I was 5 or 6 years old with an Atari 2600 and progressing through nearly every console ever released apart from the Wii U. I'm a completionist by nature, but am trying to move away from chasing every-higher gamerscore and just focusing on enjoying the great games that are all around me. We'll see how successful I am. I've been on TA since 2009 but have become much more active on the site in the past couple of years, and look forward to seeing it grow now that the XB1 app is getting it some much-deserved exposure!
