The Elder Scrolls Online Dev Panel

For those of you logging countless hours in the wide world of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, you have no doubt been anticipating the upcoming ‘Imperial City’ DLC, most recently covered with a few screenshots last week.

Developer ZeniMax Online Studios has now released a nearly hour-long Youtube video of their Quakecon 2015 panel where they discussed what to expect in this forthcoming expansion.  They parse down some the changes and improvements to the overall game experience as well as the new areas, enemies, and other additions within the DLC itself.

One of the biggest applause-garnering moments was when they announced that the looking-for-group functionality for dungeons will now allow players to group up with members of other alliances, which should make it much easier to find your needed party members for delving the depths of Tamriel.  If you have an hour to spare away from your travels in EOS, check out the video below to get the full lowdown on what to expect.

The ‘Imperial City’ DLC releases for TESO: Tamriel Unlimited on September 15th for Xbox One.

36-year old married gamer, father to a fierce Boston Terrier but no humanoid children. I've been gaming practically my whole life, starting around when I was 5 or 6 years old with an Atari 2600 and progressing through nearly every console ever released apart from the Wii U. I'm a completionist by nature, but am trying to move away from chasing every-higher gamerscore and just focusing on enjoying the great games that are all around me. We'll see how successful I am. I've been on TA since 2009 but have become much more active on the site in the past couple of years, and look forward to seeing it grow now that the XB1 app is getting it some much-deserved exposure!
