Bloodstained: ROTN New Character Unveiled

By Rebecca Smith, 1 year ago
Of the many ID@Xbox games that took to the stage during Microsoft's briefing at Gamescom, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was one that received more than a brief mention. The game's Assistant Director Koji Igarashi took to the stage to introduce a new character for the game.

As the team is putting the finishing touches on the character, he is yet to get an official name. However, we know that he is a Demon Hunter. When the demons first came to Earth in an attack that took place ten years before the events of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, this character was tasked with hunting them down. He wields dual swords and has the ability to use Japanese Ofuda spells to vanquish his foes.

Bloodstained is due to arrive on Windows 10 and Xbox One in March 2017. Igarashi also confirmed that cross-play would be enabled between the two platforms.
