We're four weeks away from the launch of one of 2015's biggest releases, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
. The storied franchise puts players in the boots of Big Boss, who, judging by his loss of an eye, was apparently the victim of too much fun and games. At Gamescom, Konami took to the showfloor to impress with their flagship series. With a new cinematic trailer and over 30 minutes of combined gameplay, this should be a reasonable welcome back to series veterans. Newcomers might get lost in all the lore though.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
hits stores on September 1st. The full achievements list is now available
as well, if you're into that sort of thing.
