A Look at the Animation Behind We Happy Few

By Marc Caccamise, 1 year ago
Compulsion Games has released two new videos showing the in-progress animation work of their characters in We Happy Few. While both videos are quite short, they do provide an interesting glimpse of what working on a game's assets outside of the entire game itself looks like. In We Happy Few, the setting is a dystopian 1960s England where the population is divided between those high on a drug called Joy, and those who refuse to take it called Downers. The creepy white smiley masks have become iconic of the game's unsettling presence.

We Happy Few is scheduled to release on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 sometime next year.
