Though it sounds like a theme park, one sight of Crimsonland
will quickly reveal itself to be nothing of the sort. The title, from 10tons Studios, is famously violent and gory. The top-down shooter will have you face off against literally hundreds of monsters at any point across several different game modes -- Survival, Rush, Blitz, Weapon Picker, Nukefism and Waves. Crimsonland
has been available for various platforms since 2003, so it's really only new to Xbox One. It's made it to most other platforms along the way since its debut. Last year, it was re-released and self published with updates to graphics, perks, weapons, enemies, and it added many of the aforementioned game modes. The Xbox One version will again see new content, a new chapter full of ten levels, a new game mode, and a new enemy type. It'll also feature 70 levels, 30 weapons, 55 perks, and local co-op for up to four players. You won't have to wait long for the game to arrive. It hits the digital store on October 14th for $13.99.
