Developed by Lilith, the upcoming first person survival horror title Allison Road
was originally a kickstarted project. With 4,482 backers pledging £145,959 of the £250,000 goal, funding for the title had been cancelled. However, the funding wasn't the reason, as Lilith cancelled the kickstarter after some very exciting news. Team 17, the well known team behind the Worms series
and The Escapists
, has taken Lilith into their publishing ranks and will be supporting the team with resources, support and many years of experience.
The story of Allison Road
will take place in Manchester, UK on a quite street in the suburbs. Autumn has fallen, and the trees and bushes have transformed into their bare seasonal forms. The skies are grey and miserable, and the weather is never without a piercing chill. Only the sounds of "distant traffic and crows" pierce the omnipresent silence. Your character wakes up one night without any memory of what's previously happened. Players must discover what has happened to their family. Face the darkness and try to shake the feeling of being watched in what you thought was the safety of your own home "... and beyond".
