The next chapter of the Halo universe is set to release next week with Halo 5: Guardians, but the hype has now hopped over to a completely different franchise. As part of a free update to the pre-existing Halo Mash-up Pack, both Blue Team, consisting of Master Chief, Spartan-104 Fredric, Spartan-087 Kelly, and Spartan-058 Linda, and Fireteam Osiris, consisting of Spartan Locke, Spartan Buck, Spartan Tanaka, and Spartan Vale, will be added as player skins. The update will be available on both Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.

Halo 5: Guardians 7

Halo 5: Guardians 6

Halo 5: Guardians 3

Halo 5: Guardians 2

Halo 5: Guardians 1

Halo 5: Guardians 4

The update will be free to those who have already bought the "Halo Mash-up Pack" in the past. For those purchasing for the first time, the pack is available to download on the Xbox Store for $3.99. The update will take place this Friday, October 23rd.
