New Update For PES 2016 Detailed

By Andy Mills, 1 year ago
An update is on the way for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 and Konami has detailed what will change - for the most part.

We'll kick it off with the kits. The kits of all teams in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in France and the two top leagues in Spain have been updated in addition to some of the Italian Serie A kits. Teams in the UEFA Champions League and Asian Champions League should also have their tournament kits in those game modes. Finally, FC Gronigen and FC Utrecht from the Netherlands, Galatasary (Turkey), Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), Panathinaikos (Greece), Brazil's Flamengo and Palmeiras and Newell's Old Boys, Independiente and Vélez Sarsfield from Argentina will now all appear in their licensed kits.

From the kits to the players that wear them now, with the announcement that 70+ players will be realistically modeled akin to the 3000 realistic players they already have in the game. It will span a mixture of leagues and nationalities with players such as Liverpool's Jordan Ibe and Danny Ings, PSV's Luuk De Jong, Yevhen Konoplyanka of Sevilla, Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich and Galatasary's Burak Yilmaz all featured amongst others.

Boots and billboards are also amongst the visual changes with billboards being updated and a range of new boots - including New Balance’s Furon Pro, X and Ace from Adidas, Nike’s Mercurial Superfly and Umbro's UX-2 - added to the game.

Finally, some gameplay tweaks have been made after consultation with the fan base although what exactly has been changed has not been detailed quite yet.

You'll be able to see all these changes very soon regardless, as the update launches tomorrow, October 29th.
