Go Aquatic with ARK: Survival Evolved

Studio Wildcard has unveiled two new water-based creatures from their upcoming dinosaur sandbox title ARK: Survival Evolved. The Kairuku Waitaki is a docile penguin-like creature that can be tamed and kept as a friendly pet. They're also useful as the heat they exude can keep adventurers warm in icy environments. Their blubber also produces a dense matter that can be used as armour. The Melanocetus Anglerpescum resembles the creepy anglerfish, using a bioluminescent light to attract prey. Tamed anglers can be used to explore the ocean and their lights can be harvested to use in settlements.

ARK: Survival Evolved is due on Xbox One in June 2016 and is expected to be part of the game preview program.
