Dying Light: The Following DLC Dated

By Joseph C, 10 months ago
In previous news, we only knew that Dying Light's upcoming DLC would release early next year.  Techland has now announced the official date for "The Following".  The DLC will release in February and will be available to purchase on its own for anyone looking for just this particular content.

For those that haven’t purchased Dying Light yet, Techland is also releasing a bundle, Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which will include the base game, "The Following" expansion, and all previous DLC, as well as all of the game’s updates to date.  "The Following" is being billed as a huge expansion with its total playable area larger than all of the playable areas in the base game combined.

In addition, the developer highlighted all of the changes and enhancements that have been made to the game, which are available to all players free of charge.  These include the Legend system, Nightmare difficulty, the Bounties system, new parkour moves, new enemy attacks and behaviors, #DrinkForDLC content, additional NPC models, enhanced facial expressions, improved human enemy AI, improved volatile AI, additional firearms, and HUD/video filter customizations.

Check out the gameplay video, enhanced edition trailer, and interview below for more, and get ready to fight for your life (again).

Dying Light’s "The Following" DLC will release across all platforms on February 9th, 2016.

36-year old married gamer, father to a fierce Boston Terrier but no humanoid children. I've been gaming practically my whole life, starting around when I was 5 or 6 years old with an Atari 2600 and progressing through nearly every console ever released apart from the Wii U. I'm a completionist by nature, but am trying to move away from chasing every-higher gamerscore and just focusing on enjoying the great games that are all around me. We'll see how successful I am. I've been on TA since 2009 but have become much more active on the site in the past couple of years, and look forward to seeing it grow now that the XB1 app is getting it some much-deserved exposure!
