EA has announced that their upcoming MMA title, EA SPORTS UFC 2
, will be launching in March. Alongside the announcement, EA also released a new cinematic trailer that features some of the most memorable moments from recent bouts. Opening with UFC featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, in his championship fight at UFC 194, the trailer showcases the all-new Knockout Physics System, Dynamic Grappling, and Next-Level Submissions.
Fans that pre-order EA SPORTS UFC 2
will also get day one access to two legendary fighters: UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten and Japanese MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba. Those who pre-order will also gain access to a third additional mystery fighter who has yet to be named.
Creative Director Brian Hayes had this to say on the announcements: Whether fans want to play upcoming cards, recreate the outcome of recent fights, or go back to fight with MMA legends, we’ll help them do that in the most authentic and exciting way ever in an MMA simulation. will launch on March 15th in North America and on March 17th everywhere else.
