The release date for Arslan: The Warriors of Legend
from KOEI is almost upon us. To celebrate the new confirmation of the game also heading to PC via Steam, KOEI has released new details revealing extra scenarios and three new characters that will be included in the hack & slash title.
Fans of the "Heroic Legend of Arslan" will be very happy with the announcement of original scenarios that will be included. Based on episodes of the original novels and manga, these extra scenarios were never part of the animated series. As players progress through the Story mode, the scenarios will gradually unlock and will also be playable in Free mode. This will give players the chance to familiarize themselves with the history and new playable characters.
Three more playable characters have also been announced who will aid Arslan in his effort to reclaim his throne. The three characters, Tus, Isfan, and Zaravant will make their way to the city of Peshawar to join Arslan's group after he sets out on his mession to "expel Luitanian opression":Tus, a quiet officer of the Parsian army and chain martial arts expert, Isfan, the younger brother of a Cavalry General who is also known as the ‘one raised by wolves, and the fearless Zaravant, a Shield-Spear wielding knight of great strength.

Two new character gameplay trailers have also been released. The first showcases Farangis in action followed by Gieve in the second. Both characters take on a heavy number of soldiers with ease thanks to their unique weapons and fighting techniques.
Lastly, we have an action gameplay trailer that does pretty much what it says on the tin. There's plenty of fighting to be seen as well as different characters, environments, locations, skill cards, weapons, and plenty more:

will release for the Xbox One on February 12th.
