Details Drop For DOOM

By Andy Mills,
Bethesda and id Software have revealed a lot of details about DOOM, including a release date and a new trailer at which you can take a look below.

Unsurprisingly, the game will have a collector's edition. It will come with a 12" figure of one of DOOM's most iconic enemies: the Revenant. The model will be based on the actual in-game files of the Revenant, and will stand on an LED-lit base with an internal spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars. The finishing touch will be the exclusive metal case in which the game will come. The DOOM Collector's Edition will cost US$119.99, €129.99 or £99.99.

Additionally, the pre-order bonuses have been detailed. Anyone who pre-orders either edition will receive the "Demon Multiplayer Pack". This will have a unique armour set with three different skin variations, six metallic paint colours and three id logos that can be applied to weapons and armour. Finally, it has a set of six Hack Modules - one-use consumables to be used in multiplayer matches.
