This report is for the period February 1st to 7th 2016.

Welcome to the stats for the first week of February here on TA. Another week with plenty of new releases, but not many to hit the tables. We need an indie blowout sale to boost some of those numbers and give me more to babble on about.

The Big Numbers
65,022 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 99,111 games between them (2,107 different games).

8,176 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 10,951 games between them (1,304 different games).

136,483 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 1,363,311 achievements online between them (58,194 different achievements).

Xbox One
New Games with Gold freebie Hand of Fate smashes into the top of the tables with 17,400 starters and six spots on Achievements Won, including the top three. The achievement-carrying trial for EA Access members puts Unravel in second with 5,600 starters and two spots on Achievements Won. Other new release Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 takes eighth whilst other titles Cobalt, Fortified, Agatha Christie - The A.B.C. MURDERS, Krinkle Krusher and more don't make the tables.

The mix of sales and the superbowl sends Madden NFL 16 into third with over 2,400 starters. Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed also get boosts with the sale in sixth and seventh. Need for Speed also appears on Completed in fourth with 280 completions thanks to the "Showcase Update" Title Update. Similarly, World of Tanks grabs two places on Achievements Won in seventh and tenth thanks to "Title Update 2.6".

The previous week's release LEGO Marvel's Avengers drops from second to tenth on Started but also appears on Completed in sixth with 250 completions. Although it didn't appear anywhere last week, Level 22 also appears on Completed this week in tenth with 170 completions.

Xbox 360
The 360 remains dominated by Games with Gold. As with on the One, the "Title Update" gives World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition places on Achievements Won. This time though it takes four whole places, including the top two. It also manages to grab seventh on Completed with almost 20 Completions.

New Games with Gold freebie Sacred Citadel naturally completely smashes the XBLA tables grabbing over 4,700 starters and a clean sweep on Achievements Won. With so many new starters, it was bound to appear on Completed despite a relatively low completion percentage of 4.5%, especially when paired with the otherwise low numbers across XBLA. It grabs ninth with fewer than 20 completions.

After first appearing in the previous week with fewer than 100 starters, this week Rise of the Tomb Raider (Win 10) climbs up to third with almost 140. Age of Empires: Castle Siege (Win 10) climbs even higher though, going from fifth with 80 starters to second with 140. I'm not entirely sure why though. Any ideas, Windows 10 gamers?

Windows Phone
After taking the lead last week, Ridiculous Marathon (WP) slips down the table again while the boost in Equalicious (WP) following the release of extra achievements continues to push the game up, this time into second. Despite those new achievements also coming with a paywall limitation on progression (unless you wait a certain amount of time between each level), the game leads on Completed and almost sweeps Achievements Won. I wonder how many of those were from people patiently waiting between each level and how many were from people giving in a paying up.

The top two spots remain unchanged on Genres this week but Role-Playing and Action swap places in third and fourth thanks to the boost given to Action by Sacred Citadel. New Need for Speed starters and DLC achievements push Racing up from eighth to fifth, while Card & Board appears in sixth from off the the bottom of the table thanks to Hand of Fate.

That's all for now. Next week we'll see if the new Dying Light DLC makes an impact alongside the proper full release of Unravel and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia.
