Skyrim Special Edition Confirmed For Xbox One

Bethesda have confirmed the rumors, and fulfilled the wishes of thousands of gamers by officially announcing a remastered Skyrim, coming to current gen systems this fall. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition features remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, and new weather and water effects. Taking a page out of Fallout 4's book, it will also support mods on console, built using the Creation Kit.

Bethesda also tweeted out some initial screenshots, grabbed from the reveal trailer above.
