THQ have confirmed that they are planning to release four downloadable packs for their upcoming game You Don't Know Jack. Each downloadable pack will contain ten extra episodes for the game. There will be 73 episodes on the disc.

The game is resurrecting the long-running series of video games that first appeared in 1995. The quiz is presented like a television show, where "pop and high culture collide" with questions about "what’s newsworthy, relevant and interesting in today’s world". The games even inspired a short-lived TV show in 2001, but the quiz show only lasted for six episodes before being replaced by The Wayne Brady Show.

As well as the game modes that were announced in October, THQ have confirmed that the Shorties mode will also be returning, as will the chance to "Screw Your Opponent" in multiplayer modes. The Fauxmercials will also be present in between games.

Man, when I first read the title of the thread I thought "I didn't even know they released it" lol. Definitely should be a first day release pickup for me. I loved this game when it first came out for the PC, and its still the only game I remember that I was able to get me, my brother, mom and dad to all play with me. Can't wait!

Oh how I long for the days when games came complete when they were released. Announcing DLC before the game is out just kinda rubs me the wrong way. DLC is just getting ridiculously out of hand these days and people buy right into it.

Yay if the DLC are updates and involve more recent events.

Nay if it's just stuff that's on the disk.

Will wait to see pricing, but TP is getting old now (even with all 3 non-ach DLC packs) so a new quiz would be fab for Ms NLi10.

I still have all the YDKJ games for the PC, had lots of fun a parties with them back in the day. Really looking forward to a very fun game with this one.

My friends and I still pull out the old PC games every once in a while, so I can't wait for this. SO happy that there will be new fauxmericals too - they included a whole bonus disc of them with one of the PC games and it's seriously some of the funniest stuff of I've heard. laugh
