Regarding inspiration for the title, technical director Keith Hudnall had this to say about the mechanics and the gameplay of Nebulous
As fans of Rube Goldberg machines and games that allow players to manipulate physics in fun and interesting ways, we made Nebulous to merge the essence of experimental puzzle solving with modern technology. Nebulous
is going to be launching on August 30th for some platforms, including PC (with VR support), Mac and PS4. The Xbox One version was also announced, but won't be coming until sometime in 2016. We will be sure to let you know once a firm date is announced.
