Ever wanted to show the world just how awesome a rapper you are? Worried that maybe you wouldn't be able to afford Def Jam: Rapstar so you can show off your skills? Well, thanks to a recent announcement from Konami, you can not only prove your rapping chops, but also do so at a discount.

Konami released a patch that makes Def Jam Rapstar compatible with Kinect. While this does not add any functionality that directly effects gameplay, it does allow players to record themselves rapping and upload the video to the game's community page.

Konami also noted that Def Jam Rapstar is now available at most retailers for a lowered MSRP of $39.99.
