Doritos Crash Course Wins Unlock Xbox Competition

By Rebecca Smith,
The public have spoken, and the winner has been announced for the Doritos Unlock Xbox competition. Doritos Crash Course came in first place, with developer Jill Robertson carrying home the $50,000 prize and a one-year game consultancy position with Doritos.

Harms Way placed as a worthy runner-up. The judges decided that both games were worthy of a prize, so they awarded Justin Carpenter, developer for Harm's Way, another $50,000 and a one-year gaming consultancy position as well. The announcement of the winner was delayed for several hours, and with the runner-up receiving an identical prize to the winner, this leads me to believe that the gap between the number of votes for each game was close.

The final webisode can be seen if you follow the external link, even if you do it just to watch Jessica Chobot trying hard not to cry.

Both games are available as free downloads on the Games Marketplace, although some content appears to be unavailable in some regions.
