EA Vision have released a trailer for the DLC, introducing you to Sebastien Vael:
Bioware announced today that the first piece of DLC for Dragon Age II, entitled "The Exiled Prince", will be made freely available to those who pre-order the Bioware Signature Edition of the title.
A description of the DLC content was also made available:
“The Exiled Prince” introduces the noble archer Sebastian Vael, with players joining him in the middle of his quest to avenge the brutal murder of his family. Sworn to the priesthood as a boy, Sebastian is forced to re-enter the viper's nest of princely politics when his family is brutally murdered, leaving him as the sole surviving heir. Banding together with Sebastian and his unshakable loyalty and excellent aim, players will choose to either avenge Sebastian's murdered family to reclaim his title or direct his holy vengeance on their enemies in Kirkwall. In addition to this action-packed storyline, players will also be able to enlist Sebastian as a follower throughout a majority of Dragon Age II.
For those of you who have already pre-ordered Dragon Age II
, your pre-order has been automatically upgraded to the Bioware Signature Edition, which not only includes "The Exiled Prince", but a downloadable game soundtrack and extra downloadable in-game items as well. For those of you dragging your feet about pre-ordering, the Bioware Signature Edition, which does not cost any more than the regular edition of the game, will only be available until January 11, 2011.
