| Damn, 1200 MSP as much as I want this game, I might find myself holding off on it for a bit (But I guess I can always wait and see if there is a deal to go alone with the House Party). |

| not a chance, doesnt look bad but 1200 points is about £10. game and gamestation are selling the likes of BAYONETTA fot £10. i know what id rather spend my money on |

There aren't any close-up shots in this trailer, so you must be referring to some other piece of artwork somewhere. Although from what I recall, just like in 99.9% of games, the heroes in this one are attractive. If anything, we need to see more ugly heroes. Boogerman, anyone? 
The only Contra-style game we've gotten for 360 so far is Metal Slug XX. That or the port of MS3, if you count that. This type of game is long overdue, and I'm looking forward to it. My decision whether to buy it right away, as usual, will rely on whether it has online co-op. My friend Chris will be buying it right away for sure, and it'd be a blast to play with 'im. If it's local-only, then I'll likely wait, as my backlog of single-player stuff is already way too big. |

I couldn't tell whether you were talking about new games made for the current generation of consoles, or whether you counted ports. |

I'm aware of the ports, and they are both stellar games. I just mean that this type of game rarely sees an original release anymore, and Contra IV was sadly exclusive to the DS. I'm elated to see the next title in the series coming to Live Arcade. |

| i really hope its worth the price i haven't herd shit about this game. only that they where making a new contra. Cant say im a huge fan of the art direction but as long as it plays like contra im all for it. |
