Stacking Release Date Confirmed

By Rebecca Smith,
THQ have confirmed that Double Fine's new XBLA game Stacking will be released on February 9th. Stacking will be the second of four smaller titles developed by Double Fine, after work on a sequel to Brütal Legend was cancelled. The first, of course, was Costume Quest.

Gamers play as protagonist Charlie Blackmore, a young chimney sweep, who is the smallest in his family of Russian Matryoshka dolls. He has to climb inside larger nesting dolls and use their special abilities to solve puzzles to enable him to reunite his family after they’ve been "forced into indentured servitude by an evil industrialist".

I'm sure this is one of the very few games where you get to press A to flatulate. I'm really intrigued as to what you can do with this 'special' ability.

Stacking will cost 1200 MSP.
