Valve confirmed a pair of reveals about their upcoming title, Portal 2, today.
First, Valve's Chet Faliszek confirmed to Videogamer that Portal 2 will feature two credit sequences. Don't worry about possibly missing one of the end-game sequences as a result of accomplishing some very complicated task, however, as Faliszek explains that "the game doesn't get too difficult - it's more complex - [but] it's never so difficult that you can't solve it". Further, Faliszek added that Valve would 'hate to think that people would only watch the endings on YouTube" and, as such, are making them reasonably obtainable.
Second, Faliszek confirmed to NowGamer that user generated levels will be coming to all platforms and shared a brief word on the process:
The mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform. But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it.
Portal 2 is currently scheduled for an April 22, 2011 release.
