Thats disappointing
At least Hydrophobia got that massive TU tho... Pretty much re-did half the game from the sounds of it. |
Really? THAT offended you? |

rockstar sale, deal of the week, etc.... too many deals! I don't have enough points and as a full time worker I don't have much time either! I've recently bought Limbo and GTA IV DLC (The Lost and Damned & Ballad of Gay Tony) and I haven't even played them yet. |

| The DOTWs this year have been disappointing. Not worth being gold, really. But Hydrophobia is an interesting option now. At least those developer deals are making up for the bad DOTWs. |

I know it might be asking too much, but I wonder if it is possible for those who posted a review to revisit the game and update them at http://www.trueachievements.com/gamereviews.aspx?gameid=3055
Sure, it's only 400 MSP and honestly I have enough points to buy it many times over, but is it worth it... even at that price? Thanks! |

| Very disappointing. It's probably karma-related because the deals were so good last week! |

| Well crap. I just bought Hydrophobia when it dropped to 800 and they put it in a DOTW before I even get a chance to play it. Oh well, I guess. |

Sure, it's only 400 MSP and honestly I have enough points to buy it many times over, but is it worth it... even at that price? Thanks!Personally, I'd say it's not worth it, if only because I don't want anyone to support the developer. The game when originally released was pretty crap and boring, as many reviewers noted, in particular Edge and Destructoid. The developer then constantly pestered both companies and demanded they re-review the game and chastised their work, telling them them that they played the game wrong and so on. They rang both companies relentlessly and pestered them no end. Essentially, they were whiny bitches who couldn't handle criticism.
A couple of months later, the release a patch to "improve" the game, and try and garner some positive publicity by saying how great they are for listening to gamer's feedback and improving the game, and lower the price. So that's ignoring their shitty behaviour previously, and a real slap in the face to anyone who supported the devs by buying the game at full price. What they said by doing that was admitting they released a subpar game at a too high price, but tried to paint themselves in a good light and ignore all that.
I just think the game was disappointing to say the least (or just awful to say a little more, an overblown tech demo with some of the worst voice acting and scripting I've ever heard) and I wouldn't want anyone to give the developer any more money. |

| Who cares about what Destructoid thinks anyway? They don't seem to really enjoy games. |

| Will probably get Hydrophobia. And why the hell would anyone buy Hydra Thunder at 800 points when it was just 400 about a month ago? ... just sayin |
