In surprising news today, Twisted Pixel's CEO Michael Wilford has confirmed that three of the Xbox Live Arcade's best titles will be released together on a retail disc next month.
It had been previously announced that Japanese gamers would be getting a retail Triple Pack of Limbo
, Splosion Man
and Trials HD
(image below), but Wilford confirmed
that North American gamers will be getting the disc too.
Wilford also tweeted a link to its Amazon.com listing
, which shows a release date of April 12th and a price of $29.99 - which, maths fans, means that the retail disc will be $10 cheaper than it would cost to buy all three via the Marketplace. Do note though that Microsoft haven't confirmed either the price or release date, so both could be incorrect placeholders.
There has been no word about a PAL release for the Triple Pack.
