| whats up with up with that shit man i can't get all those DLC & im sick of tied of getting all why can't we just buy them at the xbox live market or PSN store why why do i have to order 6 games to get 6 DLC why is it so executive to thoes who order but the rest to don't get shit |

| I got a really cool mech action figure for the Red Faction Guerrilla from Best Buy a couple of years ago. I don't know how I qualified for it, but it was mailed to my house maybe 2 weeks after I bought it. The detail was very impressive and high quality, which makes me wonder what the F EA was doing with such a lame gun in the DeadSpace 2 CE. |

The stores offer the DLC for free with pre-orders to increase pre-orders and thus first-day sales. Big surprise there. 
So, if I pre-order at GameStop, I could likely purchase the Recon armor and weapons in a few months if I wanted them. Likewise, if I pre-ordered at Best Buy, I could purchase the Commando armor and weapons later. Or if I wanted the glow in the dark T-shirt now and the DLC later, I would order directly from THQ.
Since the GameStop pre-order includes a free arcade game (Red Faction Battlegrounds) as well as the "exclusive" DLC, I'll likely pre-order there. No doubt GameStop threw its weight around to secure that "double bonus".
Executive summary (in ascending order of patience/frugality): if you want all the DLC, you can
(1) buy several new games on release day
(2) buy the "exclusive DLC" as it becomes available within a few months
(3) wait for the inevitable sale prices on both game and DLC
(4) wait until the "Complete" or "Platinum" Edition comes out at a lower price than the original and with DLC included.

| I'm still cranky that they are basically making Dead Space on Mars from all the previews I've seen. Guerilla was such a novel concept, a fairly straight forward third person augmented by the very fun destruction physics and gameplay that really did make you feel like a rebel or guerilla fighter most of the time. I don't see why we need another horror shooter. |
