Capcom Details Asura's Wrath

Capcom revealed several details today about its upcoming action game, Asura's Wrath, at its Captivate event today.

You play the game as Asura, a formerly revered diety who was betrayed by his fellow gods. Finding himself stripped of power, yet longing for revenge, Asura channels his inner rage to unleash devestating attacks against his enemies. Asura's Wrath takes its inspiration from episodic dramas and, as such, will be split into distinct sections. Asura's Wrath will also use an innovative system which will allow players to control Asura at all times, even during cutscenes.

Several key features of the game were announced by Capcom today.
• New type of action game – Asura’s Wrath will seamlessly blend action and narrative and will adopt an episodic nature, more akin to a TV drama series.
• Relentless action – Asura’s Wrath keeps placing gamers in tight situations and says ‘now get out of that.’
• What the…? – Unique enemies and planetary sized bosses will continually challenge players’ expectations.
• Innovative setting and story – Fusing Asian mythology with sci-fi, Asura’s Wrath’s universe will be truly unique.
Capcom also shared a video and several screens from Asura's Wrath.
