By Michelle Balsan, 5 years ago
Back in December, Sega announced that they would be bringing a new IP to the 360 titled Binary Domain. Today, they released a few bits of media to tease the game, including the first gameplay trailer for the title.

The squad-based shooter puts players in Tokyo in the year 2080. It is necessary to build trust with your team and make real time decisions while knowing that those decision will affect future missions.

Developerd by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the man behind the Yakuza series, Binary Domain has currently been given an early 2012 window for release.

As I said before, knowing this is from the people who brought us the Yakuza games makes me lust for it a bit. I'm glad to see some of the developers behind former PS3-exclusive series now going multi-platform. Demon's Souls, of course, being another example of this.

It kind of reminds me of the movie I, Robot in a way. Definitely sparked my interest

Looks like a step backwards from Vanquish. I do like the decision aspect though.

Terminator/I Robot/Mass Effect looks good on paper, but unfortunately Sega have disappointed me too many times lately... I am always open to being proved wrong though

I think Sega should put time into making Anime movies. That footage was very engaging and awesome.
I think I'll look out for this one.

Wow, this game looks badass already.
Plus what a tight name: Binary Domain.

Just sounds official.

Definitely impressed. I was getting a strong I Robot vibe as well, but we'll have to wait and see how it all comes together.

The third image down reminds me of the game "Snatcher" on the Mega CD for some reason.

Looks good. Can't wait to see what else this has in store for us. Glad Sega stayed in the game!
