| I assume the nano-reassembler was born when the designers got tired of figuring out how to get players unstuck after they went apeshit with a rocket launcher in closed environments. |

| Got rid of open-world, cancelled competitive multiplayer, multiple release day push backs and the president of Volition quit amid all this. Think this will be a rental. |

| I wasn't meaning to be a negative nancy, just seems like they dropped everything that made Guerrilla awesome and a standout in the series. |

| I'm sad to see that the destruction engine is the only interesting thing about this game, and it isn't even being used to its full potential. 'Gears of Mars' indeed. |

Looks good, but it needs more sledgehammer. I enjoyed the destruction aspect of RF: Guerrilla, and the Geo-Mod engine was sweet... it was always fun watching when and how the buildings and structures collapsed.
I don't think they needed to make it "Dead Space: Mars" though. It's too dark, too much of the game is set underground, and overall it gives me the impression that the dev team ended up cutting corners on this one to get it out in time (i.e., cutting out the competitive multiplayer).
I really enjoyed the open-world element of RF:G and although this one will still have the destruction, the linear aspect won't be a sufficient trade-off in my view (well it would be, if there was 4-person co-op). This won't be a first day buy for me, though I will get it new. I'll just wait for the inevitable DotW on Amazon |

I can't WAIT for this game. It's going to be such an amazing single player experience.
MORE DESTRUCTION. |

| Looks great. Heard that if enough people download the demo there's some added bonus? Planned on getting in to it anyway but added incentive is always a plus! |

| The magnet gun looks sick! Looks like it has the potential to be a very good single player experience, will have to just stand by and see I guess |

| I'm glad the destruction is back. I hope there are more walkers, I have a craving to just drive one through a building. |

LOAD of CRAAPObviously it's about the new one if they are advertising for it. Why would they rant about the other games rather than give you back story behind this specific part of the series? |

Think this will be a rental. With all due respect, I own Guerrilla and it really pisses me off because of the competitive multiplayer and open-world features. The game has many repetitive tasks GTA-style so, even though I really enjoyed the destruction feature, the game is really boring to me and I am struggling to even finish it, regardless of the achievements.
Downloaded the demo today, will check it tonight. Maybe it is better. |
