You are an elite Orc soldier, member of the legion of Bloodjaws. This legendary league of warriors is embroiled in a brutal war; on one side stand the Orcs and Goblins, on the other stands their persecutor, Humankind. Not all Orcs die on the battlefield, but they suffer a worse fate when they are captured and enslaved. Their Goblin comrades suffer persistent persecution and slaughter at the hands of humans.

You are a veteran warrior who has fought many violent battles. Newly appointed by the Orc commander, you are sent on a mission to kill the Emperor. This man has spread propaganda throughout the human race causing the masses to loathe the "green-skinned people"; he is the man who is solely responsible for the bloodshed. His death could completely change the course of the war in upcoming RPG Of Orcs and Men.

The Orc hero will be accompanied by a Goblin. Their skills complement each other; the Orc relies on his power and immense strength, while the goblin can harness "darker powers" and excels in stealth situations. Both characters will have their own skill trees to develop as the game progresses.

From the filthy alleys at the foot of the Great Wall, to the depths of the Empire of Men, your two infiltrated heroes will face the greatest dangers through their epic quest. They will commune with the Wizards, fight the assassins and soldiers of the Empire of Men, and oppose the powerful Sisters of Laments.

This game will be the first Xbox 360 RPG outing from developer Cyanide Studios. Spiders, who has previous RPG experience with Faery: Legends of Avalon, is sharing development duties, with publishing duties being handled by Focus Home Interactive.

Of Orcs and Men is due to be released in Spring 2012.

Pretty cool screen shots but I have some doubts. The plot and game itself seem a little mundane to me. Sounds like a bunch of stuff we've seen in hundreds of other RPGs and fantasy games.

A good RPG is the best kind of game you can have, because the content can seem limitless.

This looks like a more action based World of Warcraft so far though, at least from the character models. Better graphics though.

Frankly, I doubt the game has anything to do with Orwell's book outside of the title. It would just go to show how little thought was put into that mess of a story... Do people really think that just by throwing out random allusions, a game will suddenly take on some deeper meaning or make it at all relevant?

Doesn't even look or sound clever. Titles exactly like this have been done so often, and Orwell references are beaten to death so frequently, the mundanity would make even Andy Warhol jealous.

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
