Dead Block Announced for XBLA

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
Back in the 1950's, Rock’n’Roll music was the spawn of the devil in the United States. In fact, rock music was so evil that it could revive dead people and turn them into zombies, causing havoc across western civilization. Three remaining survivors have to work together to protect themselves from the incoming hordes in Candygun Games' upcoming XBLA third person action tower-defence title Dead Block.

Jack Foster (a construction worker), Foxy Jones (a traffic warden), and Mike Bacon (a "perpetually hungry boy scout" who really reminds me of Russell from Disney Pixar's UP) have to build blockades, set traps or simply use weapons to ward off the zombies as they hide in various shelters around the town.

The game offers ten single-player levels alongside up to four player split-screen multiplayer action in an additional eight multiplayer co-op levels.
