Radiant Silvergun Details Emerge

By Michelle Balsan, 5 years ago
Back during last year's Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft announced that an XBLA port of the much beloved and difficult to find, Treasure-developed shooter, Radiant Silvergun, would be coming to XBLA.

As we sit within two weeks of this year's E3, several new details have finally begun to emerge about the title. Most notably, Radiant Silvergun will allow you to choose between the Arcade or Saturn version visuals for the title.

Andriasang also reports that there are several other features which are new to the XBLA version of Radiant Silvergun.

Two player cooperative play via Xbox Live.
Online score rankings.
Upload and download player data. This will let you watch high quality play from around the world.
Greatly improved visuals. You can also play using the original graphics, though.
As a hidden bonus, an Ikaruga shooting style mode.
Here are some screenshots for you to look over, as well.

Radiant Silvergun is due to come out sometime this year and will cost 1200 MSP, but given what you would have to spend to play the game on the Saturn, that price is an absolute steal, I promise.
