E3 2011: New EDF: Insect Armageddon Screenshots

E3 2011: New EDF: Insect Armageddon Screenshots

It's a bug hunt, sir.

"B" Movies are an institution in the film industry, especially in the horror and sci-fi genres. With low budgets, bad effects, cheesy dialogue and D-List actors, they are the perfect opportunity to turn one's brain off and laugh (This comes from a 'hound who watched Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus on the morning of his wedding.). The gaming world may not have the quantity of "B" Games in retail release, anymore, but Vicious Cycle is working to keep the small tradition rolling with Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon.

At E3 this week, Vicious Cycle has released some new screenshots for their upcoming bug hunt.

This will be one of the top games this year, by far. It's hard to say which has me more excited this or gears 3 to be honest.
You seem a little furious...

The scale of the enemies is really impressive. I really didn't think much of this one, but with the jetpack, mechs, and 20-story-tall enemies this looks like it could be pretty fun. That *is* what games are about right?

Is the 2017 really that good? I keep tempting myself to buy it from GOD, but then i don't.

So is it good?

Its a fun game, was dated at the time and achievement wise its like the reverse of Avatar TBE, depends on what your after, if you just want to kill giant ants its worth a play but i'd wait for this one.
looking good, its a win from me!

According to GameStop, this is only going to be $40 when it is released, so not only are we getting the sequel to a fantastic game, but we're getting it very inexpensive. This is awesome. Day 1 grab for me.

The first one was really good, although the achievements are a huge struggle. I have put hours into it and have not managed to nab even a single achievement for it.
I will most likely play this one, but goodness, I hope the achievements are a little more managable this time. I'll play it either way, but I have a feeling this might be a rent for me. Unless, of course, it's a budget-priced game like the first one.
