E3 2011: Blades of Time Announced

By Michelle Balsan, 5 years ago
Though Konami didn't quite say as much, it appears that they announced a sequel for the generally poorly received action title, X-Blades, at E3.

Why do we say that? Well, they revealed another game with 'Blades' in the title, namely Blades of Time. This doesn't seem to let us know that it's related to X-Blades in and of itself, but when you also factor in that it stars Ayumi, the main character in X-Blades, and the fact that the same developer, Gaijin Games, is working on it, all signs seem to point to sequel. Konami didn't quite say as much, however.

Whether it's a sequel to X-Blades or not, Konami did see it fit to reveal several screens and a teaser trailer in support of Blades of Time.
