Awesomenauts Final Roster Revealed

By Michelle Balsan, 5 years ago
Ronimo Games confirmed today that the six characters who appeared in their E3 trailer for their XBLA Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title, Awesomenauts, will make up the entire initial playable roster.

The six characters are named Yuri, Froggy G, Clunk, Chameleon, Voltar and Lonestar. Though this may seem underwhelming, character customization will ensure that there is a deeper variety to the game than there may first appear to be.

In fact, a developer over at the Awesomenauts website said that the customization options are so deep, that having a team consisting of all the same character doesn't mean they'll be anything like one another.

In the initial release there will be 6 playable characters with each a distinct role, but there will be tools for the player to customize and tweak the characters. In some cases, this means you’ll be able to drastically change how some skills work. This is also to ensure that players can do a lot to mold characters to their playstyle. The Froggy G you’ll encounter in one game might be a different one than you’ll encounter in the next game. We haven’t announced any specifics on this system yet.
