John Carpenter & Steve Niles Talk F.E.A.R. 3

Film makers have had varying degrees of success when it comes to dipping their toes into the proverbial waters of video games. John Carpenter the writer/director of such horror classics as Halloween, The Fog and The Thing is one of the most recent film makers to throw his talents behind a game. In the following video he and comic writer Steve Niles talk about their involvement in Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's F.E.A.R. 3.



In a recent update, Warner Bros. has also released the official launch trailer for the game, as well.



F.E.A.R. 3 is set for a June 21st (That's next week!) release in North America, a June 22nd debut in Australia, and a June 24th drop in Europe.

I was enjoying the second game until a couple hours before the end, my save was corrupted (only time this ever happened to me on an xbox) and I just dropped the game instead of starting over. Carpenter and Niles are pretty cool guys though and hopefully their input will make this horror actually pop unlike so many action heavy horror games these days.

Hope 3 is as good as the first, F.E.A.R 2 was shite in comparison and not scary at all...... Looks like they may now have that under control!...My one query.....A horror game thats been an 18 for both previous titles is coming out in Australia? I hope it was edited just for Australia, I like gorey and horrifying games.....

Hopefully better than John Carpenter's earlier venture into video games with the odd "Sentinel" - remember playing that on PS1

Already pre-ordered! All of these seemingly bad achievements put together cant be worse than 4 Star and I got that! So BRING IT ON!

I hate being "that guy", but Steve Niles is a hack. John Carpenter hasn't put out anything worth mentioning in years, although he has directed some of the best horror films of all time. All that being said, I'm hoping this game turns out good, no matter their contributions.

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
