Retail Releases: Week of August 1st, 2011

The drought continues

Written by Perpalicious on 01 August 11 at 23:34

If you've been a bit behind in your gaming then this week is the week to catch up as there are no new releases, merely re-releases. North America gets Saints Row and Saints Row 2 in a Special Edition 2-Pack that includes the Saints Row: The Third Initiation Station. Europe gets another week of the dreaded gaming drought while Australia receives an Xbox Live Arcade retail disc that contains Limbo, Trials HD, and Splosion Man. If you're truly and surely suffering for something new then take this opportunity to check out new XBLA releases, such as Bastion or the upcoming Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

North America - August 1st, 2011

Australia - August 4th, 2011

Looking at the bright side, more time to enjoy the good weather........ or play some older games that came out along with hundreds of others during the fall.

As I've posted on x360a.org:
That's the same Saints Row pack that has been out for almost a year now. The only difference is the invitation code to try out SR3's "beta".
